Join us from wherever you are in the world and run to support history! This year the virtual Memorial Day Dash 5K is a partnership between Tennessee State Parks and the Nashville City Cemetery Association. Proceeds for this year’s virtual race event will support the historic Nashville City Cemetery recently damaged by spring storms and the Tennessee State Parks Association.
Virtual Race Challenge:
Show us your run to support history. Post a photo of your virtual Memorial Day Dash 5K with a historic theme or historic run and you may win one of our spirit awards. Use the hashtag: #VirtualMemorialDayDash and tag @nashvillecitycemetery.
START/FINISH:
The race kicks off when you are ready to go any time during Memorial Day weekend from Friday, May 28 through Monday, May 31 either on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, or any course you choose. You can log your time at any point during the weekend. We encourage everyone to complete your miles on Memorial Day and remember someone special to you.
REGISTRATION:
Register any time between now to May 28, 2021. We encourage all runners to register before May 14th to be guaranteed a finisher medal. This registration is for the virtual option only.
Virtual 5K Race:
The registration fee is $25. This fee includes a virtual bib, finishers medal, and a certificate for donating to the Nashville City Cemetery Association and Tennessee State Parks.
RULES:
- Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Registrations after May 14th are not guaranteed a medal.
- Race swag will be sent out after race week.
- This registration is for the virtual option only, it cannot be transferred for the in-person race.
